Art used to be messy, wasteful and expensive.  Artists of the future will probably be mostly all digital artists, creating their works with computer software and digital input devices.  Having come from the prior era, I have experience in both methods, and I must say, I far prefer the digital method of creation, the three most compelling reasons being the ability to create on layers, the ability to mix media that otherwise could never be mixed, and most important of all:  undo!
